Welcome to EDCO Park & Pool!

The EDCO Park and pool are operated by the Evans City Park Authority, a tax exempt, self supporting government business.  We are accountable to the Evans City Borough Council.  Authority members are a dedicated group of volunteers who work to maintain and enhance the park and pool.  We are appointed to serve 5 year or longer terms.  More information is available info@edcopark.com.

EDCO Park & Pool has been in operation since 1987.

Edward Dambach owned a plaining mill where the park and pool now reside.  He donated the land with the stipulation that it could only be used for a park.

Subsequently, it has been named EDCO for the Edward Dambach Company.

Our basic goal is to provide a safe, clean, and friendly environment where patrons can play and relax.  But our goals cannot stop there.  We strive to represent Evans City and our community with pride and respect.

our mission

We provide our community with a park and pool of which everyone can be proud.

We strive for a park environment with useful amenities where families of all ages and sizes can enjoy the day; where children can play safely; where vandalism and bullying are obsolete

funding

The continual increase in pool standards, government regulations and rising costs has had an impact on EDCO.  The operating budget before capital improvements is approximately 50K per-year.  In order to keep membership fees, current hour/ days open and services affordable we continue to need your help and support.

EDCO Park & Pool is a place where respect and accountability govern actions.
